# cd¶

The cd command modifies the current directory and helps navigating in the filesystem tree.

By default, cd (with no argument) change the current directory to the user directory (its home directory).

The absolute path of the home directory of the current user is ~.

The absolute path of the home directory of user lambda is ~lambda.

There are two ways to specify a change of directory:

• either using the absolute path

• either using a relative path
